The studio started here in May 2024, in a single dorm room in a city built on science and research. We have stayed.
Tsukuba is a research city — universities, national institutes and the companies that grow around them. That shapes the work we get asked to do: research tooling, data-heavy dashboards, systems that have to be precise rather than merely attractive, and a lot of bilingual interfaces for teams that are half Japanese and half international.
Being local is not a marketing line here. It means we can sit in a room with you at the start of a project, which is the single highest-leverage hour in any build. It means site photography and video happen without a travel budget. And it means the people maintaining your system are reachable in your own timezone.
We work with businesses across Ibaraki and greater Tokyo, and remotely with clients elsewhere in Japan and in India.
