India is our second home market. We have shipped production platforms here — not pilots — and support them from the same infrastructure we run everything else on.
Our work in India started with Childlife India: a full operations platform handling internship applications, memberships, certificates and payments, with an embedded AI assistant answering questions from the organisation's own content. It runs in production and we maintain it. We also delivered the brand site for Pongal Malar.
Building across Japan and India from day one forced the engineering to be honest about the things that usually break on international projects — timezones, currencies, payment providers and languages are handled as first-class concerns rather than retrofitted when the first non-Japanese client arrives.
Practically: we work in IST as readily as JST, invoice in INR or JPY, and integrate the payment and messaging providers that actually work in India rather than the ones that work elsewhere. Support runs on our own infrastructure, so there is no third-party host to escalate through when something needs fixing.
