Executive Summary

Childlife India runs a certified child-life-specialist training programme - internship applications, orientation, assignments, membership management, and certification - for people entering a growing field with almost no dedicated software built for it. Tsukuba Tech designed, built, and now maintains a full web platform development project that replaced a scattered mix of forms, spreadsheets and manual emails with one connected system.

The platform covers internship application management, Stripe-powered membership payments, QR-verified digital certificate issuance, and a CMS the Childlife India team runs day to day - with Tanzz AI, our own AI product, embedded into two distinct parts of the operation: a 24/7 support bot for applicants and members, and a blog-editor AI assistant for content publishing.

The Customer

Childlife India operates India's own Child Life and Beyond programme, training specialists in evidence-based psychosocial care for children and families in hospitals and educational settings. Running a certification programme means handling a real operational load: applications, academic screening, document verification, assignments, payments, and - at the end - a certificate that has to be genuinely verifiable, not just a PDF anyone could recreate.

Before this platform, that operational load was spread across separate tools with no shared system between application, payment, and certification. Applicants and staff both felt the friction of a process that lived in email threads and spreadsheets rather than one platform.

The Challenge

A certification programme like this needs more than a marketing website. It needs an internship management system that can walk an applicant through a structured, multi-section application, take a payment, issue a certificate that can't be faked, and give staff visibility into every stage - while still answering the day-to-day questions that come in from applicants and members around the clock.

Handling that volume of process and support manually does not scale. Childlife India needed a system that could run itself for the routine parts of the operation, freeing staff time for the parts of the programme that actually need a human - the training and mentorship itself.

The Solution

Tsukuba Tech built a single web platform covering the full lifecycle: a guided, multi-step internship application system with autosaving progress, Stripe integration for membership and programme payments, and a certificate engine that issues QR-verified PDF certificates - each one instantly checkable by scanning a code, with no manual paperwork.

On top of the operational system, Tanzz AI - our own AI product - was embedded in two distinct roles. A support bot answers applicant and member questions live on the site, any time of day. A separate "Talk to Tanzz" assistant sits inside the blog editor, helping the team turn a rough draft into a polished, SEO-friendly article without needing outside help.

Implementation Journey

Multi-step internship application flow on the Childlife India platform

A real application flow, not a form dump

Applicants move through a guided, multi-section internship application - personal details, academics, preferences, documents, payment - with autosaving progress, instead of one long static form that loses their work.

What Tsukuba Tech Deployed

The customer- and member-facing experience runs on React 19, Vite, Three.js, Tailwind CSS and Framer Motion for an interactive, modern interface. The backend runs on ASP.NET Core (.NET 9) with a SQL Server database, handling applications, memberships, and certificate records. Stripe processes membership and programme payments end to end.

For AI, Tanzz AI - our proprietary AI suite - runs as both a support bot and a content assistant, proof that the same underlying AI product can serve two completely different roles inside one platform without becoming two separate systems to maintain.

Every certificate is issued straight from the platform and carries a QR code that verifies it instantly - no manual paperwork, no way to fake it.

Tanzz AI: Support Bot and Blog-Editor Assistant

Tanzz AI runs inside Childlife India's platform in two distinct roles. As a support bot, it answers questions from applicants and members around the clock - programme details, application status, and general enquiries - without waiting on staff availability. As a blog-editor assistant, a "Talk to Tanzz" panel sits directly inside the content editor, able to turn a rough draft into a professional article, fix grammar, add structure, or make a post SEO-friendly on request.

Both roles run on the same Tanzz AI product, proving the platform's AI layer isn't a single-purpose chatbot bolted onto the homepage, but a flexible assistant wired into whichever workflow needs it - applicant support one moment, content production the next.

AI-assisted content publishing

The "Talk to Tanzz" panel offers one-click actions - turn this into a professional article, fix grammar and spelling, add headings and structure, make this SEO friendly - directly inside the blog editor the Childlife India team already uses.

Results & Impact

Childlife India now runs internship applications, membership management, Stripe payments, and certificate issuance from a single platform, saving an estimated 40+ hours a month that previously went into manual coordination across separate tools. Every certificate issued is instantly verifiable by QR code, removing the risk of manual paperwork or disputed credentials.

With Tanzz AI running as both a 24/7 support bot and a blog-editor assistant, the Childlife India team spends less time on repetitive applicant questions and content formatting, and more time on the actual training and mentorship the programme exists to deliver.

Lessons

First, a certification programme's real product is trust - a QR-verified certificate does more for a training programme's credibility than a nicer-looking PDF ever could. Second, one platform covering the full lifecycle - application through certification - removes the coordination overhead that comes from stitching together forms, spreadsheets and email.

Third, the same AI product can meaningfully serve two very different roles - applicant support and content authoring - when it's wired into the actual data and workflow of each, rather than deployed as one generic chatbot for the whole site.

“We had a great experience working with Tsukuba Tech. Mr Dheeraj took the effort to understand our vision and beautifully translated it into a website which truly reflects the essence of the work we do. The team was receptive to feedback, patient through multiple revisions, and always open to incorporate our ideas while combining them with valuable suggestions of their own. We would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and creative web development team!”
